After several delays, the anthology Beyond the Last Star: Stories from the Next Beginning is finally printed and shipping (or so I am given to understand, since my copies haven't actually arrived yet). You will find my story "The Diagnostic Feast" in this fine volume, as well as many other worthwhile offerings. About two dozen, in fact.

This publication means I currently have only one story left in the to-be-published queue, and long-time readers will know that I like to keep more than one story in that queue. I do have high hopes for at least two of the ten stories I have out in the mail now, and I'll certainly keep all y'all updated on what happens with them.
In other news, I'm up to Chapter 6 (of 14) in the second draft of my novel Silvertide. I had hoped to have it done by the end of the summer, but my new goal is the end of the year. There's still an editor waiting to see it. I hope.
