Well, maybe that's overstating the case, but I do get an opportunity to put on the sage's cap later this month. I've just been invited to the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Weekend in Washington, D.C., the 13th and 14th, where besides all the cocktail parties and banquets and awards ceremonies I'll be teaching two workshops to the gold and silver award winners. The tentative title for the workshop is "Science Fiction and Fantasy Writing: Steps to Becoming a Professional."

Of course, in the spirit of full disclosure, I'll have to admit that I'm still figuring that out myself....
