It may seem absurd given the current date, but the April 2002 issue of Realms of Fantasy, containing my short story "The Veil Beyond the Veil," is on newsstands now. (Realms is a bimonthly title, and, like most magazines, its issues are timed to leave newsstands when the cover date rolls around.)

You can find it at larger magazine shops and at most Barnes & Nobles—at least, most of the ones I've visited. It's usually stocked with the science-fiction magazines (literary SF, that is, as opposed to cinematic SF), which are usually stocked somewhere in the vicinity of the general writing magazines.

I hope you'll make the effort to hunt it down. I'm rather proud of this little story.
