I've been having an email exchange with my agent today, asking her about how her reading of my novel Silvertide is coming. Her latest message strangely touched me, after I'd been bugging her about when I would have her revision notes:

"No, you're not being a pest at all. I don't blame you for feeling antsy—you're a writer and not writing at the moment."

I'm a writer. Oh, yeah. Cool.
