39½ Minutes of the Wolf

Table of Content

At my birthday party last night, my friend Bob Howe brought as a gift a stack of CDs. He had recorded my appearance on "Hour of the Wolf," digitized it, edited out the irrelevant bits, and burned the meat onto an 80-minute CD-R—six times. He also made a lovely title insert that includes my complete bibliography. This was extremely sweet of him, and it makes a nice calling card for me to give to editors and other folks in positions of power.

Another fine ramification of this gift is that it has made it relatively easy for me to rip MP3s of the show and put them online. So, if you're interested in hearing my interview from the first hour of the show, just click over to the "Sound Bytes" section of the Web site.

Thanks, Bob!
