Well, the final Nebula ballot came out yesterday, and "The Veil Beyond the Veil" wasn't on it. Here are the nominees:

I'm disappointed, of course, but I'm young and resilient. And I have two stories coming out in the next few months, seven more out in the mails, several more soon to be ready, and a novel manuscript that I understand just crossed a very interested editor's desk. The only awards that truly matter, of course, are the ones bestowed by editors: publication. Let's hear it for publication!
